With the foundation of SPRACH-AHA! I would like to enable multilingual growing up children not only to acquire the German common language, but at the same time the German educational language, systematically, coordinated and continuously!

The children should acquire the German language as comprehensively, differentiated and correctly as possible. This is the basic prerequisite for them to grasp our social reality, to be fully accepted in it and to be able to shape it later on.

Language is THE medium through which learning happens in school. Even if students speak German well in everyday life, this does not mean that they understand everything in the different subjects, because for this they need educational language skills. Especially children and adolescents who do not receive sufficient linguistic support at home or who speak a different first language have a more difficult time in various subjects, because they sometimes do not grasp content for language reasons and therefore cannot follow the lessons. And because of lack of vocabulary and linguistic structures they can't adequately express what they have understood.

It is our heartfelt concern to achieve educational justice and social participation for ALL children in the German school system. Children are our most valuable asset and they have the greatest potential!

Sprach-AHA! not only promotes the learning of German common language, but also aims to specifically prepare children for the German educational language. Our wish is that every child in German society can develop in the best possible way. With an AHA EFFECT!
